Event description

The Tasmanian Australian Rules History and Heritage Group launched a new display at the St Helens Library on the 8th April 2024.

On at the moment at the St Helens Library is a Tasmanian Football display which shows of some of the history of the East Coast area but also showcases some other Tasmanian football items.
On display is the FDFA (Fingal District Football Association) senior premiership trophy (1950 – 1992) which has been won previously by Avoca, Campbell Town, Fingal, Rossarden and St Helens.

The East Coast Swans Football Club has kindly loaned some items for the display.

The East Coast area has a rich history which will be showcased by the annual Pyengana Heritage match on the 13th April 2024 with the East Coast Swans team wearing the Ringarooma Football Club jumper this year against the Perth Football Club.
